Anonymous November 20, 2006 Good question Stuart For my system at home, I upgraded from Vista RC1 For my systems at work Toshiba A7 : format & clean install Motion LS800 : format & clean install Toshiba M200 : upgrade from WinXP SP2 Anonymous November 20, 2006 Frank This has been a overwhelming month of releases from Micrsosoft which makes me feel like I’m in a mall filled with toy shops, I don’t quite know which WINDOW to peer into first, Office 2007, IE 7, SharePoint, .Net … One caution however is that it is wise to look at the “Clock Gadget” prior to waking up the wife to share the excitement of a new find :) Craig Hubbard Anonymous November 20, 2006 Frank and Stuart I performed an upgrade from XP/SP2 however first noticed that I had to remove some incompatible third party products like Nero. After the upgrade I was concerned that my Logitech products i.e. QuickCam, keyboard features etc not longer worked, later I found that Logitech at this time have no mention of support or support plans (at least visible on their site) So in my case I have not moved to Vista at this time on my highly dependant workstation. On reflection it is worth checking any third party product sites for devices that you rely on prior to upgrade (IMHO), time will hopefully resolve this issue. The resulting upgrade on an machine that previously failed in beta had been successful. cheers Craig Hubbard Anonymous December 08, 2006 I finally was able to logon to my BlogBeat account this weekend, following a PEBKAC sitution.
