On the horns of a LinkedIn Dilemma… I got a request last week from one of my LinkedIn connections to forward an introduction along to a person at a competitve company, looking for a job there. I’ve have had “a convenience reminder to forward this request” on. What do I do?  Do I forward the introduction onto the competitor or do I ignore the request? No, only kidding :) After you try oscartr’s Option 3, there is a fourth option if your friend still wants to work for the competitor.  Perhaps you can help your friend find an alternative route for his introduction?  Maybe introduce him/her to another mutual connection whose contact with “a person at a competitve company” wouldn’t raise so many eyebrows?
