mmmmmmmmmmmmm Monster Thickburger [via SMH ] “If the old Thickburger was ‘food porn’, the new Monster Thickburger is the fast-food equivalent of a snuff movie,” the Centre for Science in the Public Interest commented. Comments Anonymous November 18, 2004 Happy birthday :-) Anonymous November 18, 2004 Great minds, as they say… http://dbvt.com/blog/archive/2004/11/16/502.aspx :-) Anonymous November 19, 2004 “However, it also increases the company’s exposure to the threat of lawsuits from customers blaming its food for their obesity, diabetes, heart problems or other conditions linked to poor diet.” See, I don’t think they /are/ increasing their exposure to the threat of lawsuits. McDonalds used to advertise their meals as a great family outing and that you could eat it all the time. Now, personally, I think you’re a few keggers short of party if you ever believed that. But Hardee’s is pretty much claiming exactly the opposite: that this is a burger that specifically /causes/ heart desease, and that’s why it’s gaining so much press. It’s something that you’d just /have/ to try, though isn’t it? Just for bragging rights :) Anonymous November 22, 2004 This gives new meaning to the term “Feedback”.
