Made In Express Contest : An Aussie Finalist Dan Fernandez gives an update on the Made in Express Contest I had a quick look and noticed an Aussie was a finalist! Neil Bamber Rockingham, Western AustraliaAustraliaProject: A relationship tracking system More about the solution direct from the author “An application that tracks the relationships between friends and business associates. Each person would be represented by a circle which would change size based on a point value determined by factors such as the amount of interactions and the importance of these interactions. Linking the circles would be a line that also conveys the strength of the relationship; based on a combination of the last interaction date and the relationship length to give the user an indication of how healthy the relationship currently is. There could be as many links as the user wanted—for example, I know someone called Matt, Matt has a friend named James that I’ve seen around but not too often. I wouldn’t say I know James but I know of him. The program could link James to Matt, who is linked to me. I could then update James’s circle when I learned something about him or we ran into each other. The application would allow the user to enter as much data about the person as they saw fit.” -Neil Bamber Neil - we’re all cheering an Aussie chant just for you!!! Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! Oi! Oi!
