Fantastic project from MS Research I came across this over the weekend: Three Microsoft researchers have built an online application they call the WWMX that combines digital photographs identified by time and linked to MapPoint or TerraServer maps using GPS coordinates. The red dots scattered across a map of the world show you where to look for the stories that people tell in pictures. This is a fantastic project, which includes a Smart Client that delivers a tremendous user experience. Check it out Comments Anonymous December 15, 2003 Pretty cool eh.
